hard to believe baby ella is now almost 11 months old. that means my own sweet baby is just a few months behind her. ella is the daughter of our sweet friends and her and jori are only about 9 weeks apart. 
we got together the other evening and the weather was amazing. i had to snap a few pics even though ella was getting a little sleepy.

and this last one is my favorite. she was playing peek a boo with her momma. love it :) 
our good friends jody and emily decided to go on active duty with the military last march. they moved to beautiful Hawaii for a three year term. dave and i are already saving up frequent flyer miles to get over there to visit. jody is a military nurse and recently got word that he would be deployed to Iraq. since jodys family lives here in TN, they decided to make a quick trip back before he heads over seas. emily and i had gotten really close, so i am enjoying our time together very much. 
i asked them if they would be interested in me taking some photos of jody in his dress uniform. they are always such great sports, i love photographing them. click here and here you can see our other photo shoots.

and one last one of my beautiful friend. we are praying for you guys as you start on this new journey. we are praying for safety for jody and peace and strength for emily while he is gone. they have two great kiddos that i am sure will miss there daddy too, so we are praying that the kids can adjust as well. jodys return date is in September.
teresa and LT's boys are just the sweetest most handsome boys. they were so well behaved and did everything i asked them. they were troopers. it helped that they had a prize waiting for them if they did a good job :)

when we were done taking photos of the family, LT asked me to take a few of just the car. the car was beautiful and i enjoyed taking photos of something i had never done before.

kendal is 22 months, ella is almost 6 months, and noah is 4. they are just the sweetest kiddos with the BEST smiles. 
we had an amazing day to take photos. the weather was just perfect.
kendal has the most amazing hair! i am jealous. i have been taking kendals pics since she was born.

i found this awesome location where they were getting ready to auction off a ton of old farm equipment. perfect for pictures. the old famers might have thought we were a little crazy though.
