growing up so fast

Kendal is ONE!

this pretty little lady is the one who started it all and now she has just celebrated her FIRST birthday. she was the first baby i photographed besides my own children after i got my new camera and fell in love with photography. maybe i fell in love with it so much because i had such a beautiful subject. if you want to see her new born photos click here.
kendal is an on the go kind of girl. she loves to be outside so it was tough to keep her down for long.
but look at how sweet she is when you get her to freeze for just a second. i just cant get over her beautiful hair and eye lashes. she is going to have hair to die for as she gets older.

papa p and gram

wow! this was a cold day. makes me cold just thinking about it. it was about 16 degrees so we didnt stay out for long. this group of people are near and dear to me as they are my parents and my children. we did a quick mini session with them while they were here visiting after christmas. because it was so cold it was VERY quick. my hands were FROZEN it was hard to hold on to the camera.

after the got the kids back in the car i took a few of mack and mom and dad too. i think these turned out really well. kenzie is getting so grown up.

Greer family Christmas...

I got to come back over and document the growth of little Caleb the week before Christmas. It is hard to believe how fast they grow and change in just a few short months. Russ and Ashley are great parents and are always entertaining. Russ is a funny guy but also a very talented musician so he and Caleb sung a few songs for me while i was there.

its beginning to look a lot like christmas...

This past weekend I was asked to come and take some pictures for some friends. His parents were in town from Iowa for a visit so it was nice to capture some moments between the grandparents and grandkids. They decorated the christmas tree and then braved the cold and headed outside for a few shots.
It is so fun to be a kid at Christmas time. Just look at his face!
