brewer family

how did i get to lucky to do three photo shoots this week? on monday i took pictures for the Brewer Family. i also met shannon through MOPS. her and her husband, ken, have three beautiful, funny, smart, sweet girls. the girls ages are almost exactly the same as our first three. in fact raelyn and their middle child, kyndall were in the same preschool class together for a year.

i hope the pictures show how much this family loves each other. they were physically close to each other the whole time, i just loved it. they laughed like crazy, were silly and goofy, we even had a little bloody lip, they were having so much fun :) who said girls dont know how to rough house?
ellah is 3 about to turn 4 just like our brenna. i love this shot where she was just a little shy and felt secure velcroed to her daddy's leg.
these sisters are so sweet together and sure know how to have fun with one another.

sydney is garrets age and in the third grade. she is a smart cookie and so sweet.

i had the pleasure of photographing my sweet friend april and all her boys this weekend. i met april through MOPS and since then we have become good friends. her oldest son goes to the same school as our kids, she is a preschool teacher at the preschool the girls went to last year, we have been in a bible study together, she started up a moms prayer group at Doak that i have enjoyed attending and this year brenna is going to be IN her preschool class. brenna is so excited to be with mrs. april. i told my hubby that i know that mrs april and brenna are going to have a good time together. mrs. april is going to love the stuffin right out of brenna :) prefect for when you are in 3 year old preschool!
chad works for Tusculum College so they wanted to grab some family photos all dressed up in their Tusculum clothes on the campus. it is such a beautiful campus. lots of great places to take pictures.
ethan and ryland... cute cute brothers.





ryland, the little brother, is so funny and would make the best faces. my goal is to capture personalities not just smiles...

when april saw this 2005 sign she wanted to get ethans pic in front of it. 2005 was the year that ethan was born. he is such a good big brother, always looking out for ryland. ethan was also a champ at getting his picture taken. he did everything i asked... he was a pro :)

ella is ONE

ella's one year old birthday is just days away and we couldn't pass up this beautiful field of butter cups to capture this stage in her life. she is such a doll.

we went out to the camp to take these photos. it sure was a pretty day.
ella has such pretty lips and makes the cutest little expressions.

sweet ella b

hard to believe baby ella is now almost 11 months old. that means my own sweet baby is just a few months behind her. ella is the daughter of our sweet friends and her and jori are only about 9 weeks apart.
we got together the other evening and the weather was amazing. i had to snap a few pics even though ella was getting a little sleepy.

and this last one is my favorite. she was playing peek a boo with her momma. love it :)

jody and emily

our good friends jody and emily decided to go on active duty with the military last march. they moved to beautiful Hawaii for a three year term. dave and i are already saving up frequent flyer miles to get over there to visit. jody is a military nurse and recently got word that he would be deployed to Iraq. since jodys family lives here in TN, they decided to make a quick trip back before he heads over seas. emily and i had gotten really close, so i am enjoying our time together very much.
i asked them if they would be interested in me taking some photos of jody in his dress uniform. they are always such great sports, i love photographing them. click here and here you can see our other photo shoots.

and one last one of my beautiful friend. we are praying for you guys as you start on this new journey. we are praying for safety for jody and peace and strength for emily while he is gone. they have two great kiddos that i am sure will miss there daddy too, so we are praying that the kids can adjust as well. jodys return date is in September.

Gibson Family

all i can say is wow! i had SO much fun taking pictures for the Gibson family. I met teresa through MOPS and over the last few years we have become great friends. she is now on the planning team with us at MOPS and is a great help there. when she asked me to take photos of her and her boys i was happy too, and then when she said they were bringing their old car with them i was SUPER happy. i love when families bring things that are important to them with them for a photo session, whether it is a favorite book or a fancy old car.

teresa and LT's boys are just the sweetest most handsome boys. they were so well behaved and did everything i asked them. they were troopers. it helped that they had a prize waiting for them if they did a good job :)

when we were done taking photos of the family, LT asked me to take a few of just the car. the car was beautiful and i enjoyed taking photos of something i had never done before.
